Prof. Ajami on the Iraqi elections

I know some folks might say it's still to early to tell, but I think, hands down, the Iraqi elections are a huge victory for President Bush's Iraq policy. I logged on Sunday afternoon to see how everything was going in Iraq and I was heartened to read the good news - even from Reuters and the New York Times! I couldn't be happier for the Iraqi people and I couldn't be more proud of our troops in theater. We are forever indebted to them.

Prof. Fouad Ajami, one of, if not, the best scholar on the Middle East was interviewed by the Council on Foreign Relations about the elections. Greg Djerejian wraps it all together for us. You gotta read the entire thing - makes it feel oh-so-sweet.

At least Moore was passed over by this year's Oscars. Seems like Hollywood knows enough not to associate anymore with someone intimately tied to the election loss.
